On Ryan's 9 month birthday, he finally said the word... whilst having lunch, he looked at me and said 'Ma'! About 5 seconds later, he said it again... 'Ma'. And Nick is my witness! What a way to melt a mum's heart... ahhhhh.
Today, Ryan and I went to MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) for the first time. Ryan had fun with the other babies and carers and I had a nice time hanging out with the other mums. The talk was on the five languages of love and at the end, we got to decorate a mirror... I am absolutely hopeless with creative things but I am quite happy with my little mirror :)

my first piece of knitting
Its hard to tell but its meant to be a hot mat.... its not quite finished just yet... needs a handle plus some stitches to finish the end. And apparently I dropped a stitch which needs to be sewn up otherwise the whole thing can unravel! My next project is a scarf which will have a similar pattern - 4 plains, 4 perls. Thanks mum for teaching me!
